Huangpu district recently released the detailed rules for the implementation of the Methods for Guangzhou's Huangpu District to Boost the Development of the Advanced Manufacturing Industry (Version 2.0).
Eligible foreign-fund enterprises with a paid-in registered capital of more than $10 million, $20 million, $100 million, and $300 million will be given corresponding rewards, as will domestic-funded enterprises with a paid-in registered capital of over 50 million yuan ($8 million), 100 million yuan, 1 billion yuan, and 2 billion yuan.
Huangpu's incentive policies for advanced manufacturing cover the entire life cycle of local enterprises.
A maximum reward of 50 million yuan is eligible for enterprises that make prominent contributions to local economic development. In addition, each of these enterprises can recommend up to 10 talents annually for a maximum reward of 3 million yuan each.
To support the growth and expansion of local businesses, a one-time reward of 2 million yuan will be given to pilot demonstrative industrial internet enterprises, while a one-off reward of 3 million yuan will be given to national enterprise technological centers. Pilot demonstrative smart manufacturing enterprises will receive a reward of up to 2 million yuan. Village-level industrial parks, accelerators, and incubators will also be rewarded based on the number of enterprises above designated scale they bring in or foster.
Industrial enterprises above designated size that expand their production through manufacturing consignment will be rewarded.
The expenditure of enterprises that undergo technical transformation will be subsidized.
