Five major semiconductor and IC projects, which feature a total investment of about 12.5 billion yuan, signed agreements to settle in Huangpu on the same day. They included Skyverse, a leading IC optical detection equipment manufacturer, Ferrote, a global semiconductor materials giant, as well as Guangdong Hinno-Tech, one of a few domestic private enterprises that integrate the R&D, production, and sales of semiconductor carrier plates.
Xing Cheng Capital and Bund Capital were among the five investment agencies that favor the hard technology sector, such as the IC, digital economy, and artificial intelligence industries, to sign the agreement with Huangpu to set up a dedicated industrial fund of more than 10 billion yuan.
Moreover, the plaque for a postdoctoral scientific research workstation of CSGKC Management Committee was unveiled to advance local innovation capability and deepen industry-university-research integration. It is the first postdoctoral scientific research workstation in Guangdong approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Post-Doctoral Regulatory Commission for an industrial park.
