Representatives of the Guangzhou Development District Administrative Committee and the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences sign the cooperation agreement on Oct 3.
An advanced research institute of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences will be built in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC).
A cooperation agreement was signed between the Guangzhou Development District Administrative Committee and the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences on Oct 3.
The institute will be established as an international open platform that integrates scientific research, new-type think tanks, talent cultivation, cultural inheritance, and industrial incubation.
It will gather domestically leading experts, scholars, academic pacesetters, and leading talents for the cultivation of international, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan doctoral students in its advantageous disciplines.
In addition, CSGKC will bring in high-end academic conferences and forums to bolster the institute as a significant academic exchange base relying on the wide-reaching influence of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
The University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences was established in May 2017 on the basis of the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and is regarded as a forerunner in humanities and social sciences education in China.
