Guangzhou Daily: Huangpu hosts smart home innovation contest finals

The final of the innovation and entrepreneurship competition of small- and medium-sized companies managing smart homes and electrical appliances was held in Guangzhou's Huangpu district on July 20.

The competition, held by China National Electronic Apparatus Research Institute, has gained guidance from the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province and the Department of Finance of Guangdong Province. 

A total of 15 projects entered the final, presenting a variety of innovations covering areas spanning the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and health. Projects related to garbage classification and smart energy-saving equipment have become hot topics.
