The seventh Guangdong youth innovation and entrepreneurship competition named after Huangpu district, as well as the third youth innovation and entrepreneurship competition in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area kicked off in Guangzhou on June 6.
The competition is jointly organized by 12 units, including the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province, the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, as well as the Guangdong Financial Supervisory Authority.
Being the largest annual youth innovation and entrepreneurship competition in the Greater Bay Area, the competition has set up its main venue in Huangpu district and will hold qualification trials in Hong Kong and Macao. The competition is divided into two groups: commercial and industrial projects, as well as rural and agricultural projects.
The total bonus of this year's competition has increased to 1.62 million yuan ($229,063.76) and competitors will be able to enjoy 10 benefits in areas spanning training and learning, capital matchmaking, policy support, as well as incubation.
Those under the age of 35 years old are welcomed to participate in the event.
