A smart phone application on the preparation for setting up a company was launched by Guangzhou Development District (GDD) on May 28, being the first of its kind in China.
The application, which is an information management system, is specialized for helping companies to deal with problems during the preparation for setting up a company.
Companies can file for and report their problems through the application so that relevant government departments will receive the requests and quickly help companies to solve their problems.
A trial operation of the application has been carried out in the past two months, receiving good results and positive feedback from users.
The project, which was invested in by Siemens in GDD, has successfully solved problems in areas like temporary electricity use and earthwork transportation with the help of the application.
The use of the application has shortened the time for waiting for examination and approval as it only took the Siemen's project 15 days to receive approval to get electricity temporarily for construction, saving it about one month in time.
