Guangzhou Daily: Huangpu Customs offer fast clearance for emergency medical supplies

Huangpu Customs opened a green channel for four batches of emergency nucleic acid testing supplies for the novel coronavirus from March 14 to 17.

The supplies were produced by Daan Gene Co Ltd of Sun Yat-sen University, a high-tech company involved in molecular diagnostic techniques in Huangpu. It included 5,001 testing kits for the novel coronavirus and 1,250 nucleic acid extraction or purification reagents.

Daan Gene is one of the six manufacturers for testing kits of the novel coronavirus in China. Online services have been offered by Huangpu Customs to the company to help it achieve fast clearance.

Thanks to the support of Huangpu Customs, the products have been successfully delivered to foreign countries including Spain and Rwanda.
