The Guangzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce has launched an online platform on March 6, gathering production resources of all member companies.
It is expected that private companies in Guangzhou can achieve more efficient matches for production factors and further lower costs with the help of the online information platform.
Companies in Guangzhou have faced shortage in various factors due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19). The federation has been devoting efforts to help companies by taking different measures according to their different problems.
Guangzhou Ruisen Bio-technology Co Ltd, located in Guangzhou Development District (GDD), has gained support from the federation in finding workers to test the machines for masks production that the company has recently purchased.
Guangzhou Xiangxue Pharmaceutical Co Ltd in GDD had faced a labor shortage during the company’s process in expanding production capacity after the company's antiviral oral liquid was listed in the supplies for the epidemic prevention and control by the Health Commission of Guangdong Province.
Considering the company's situation, the federation had carried out cooperation with Guangzhou's Honghai Human Resources Group to help the company to recruit more employees.
"Through these cases, we have seen a huge development space in letting private companies help each other by sharing resources," said Yu Jianchun, vice chairman of the federation.
"With the help of preferential policies launched by the local government, the online platform can let private companies make full use of their vitality," added Yu.
Yu noted that the launch of the platform is also a measure to protect the growth of companies in Guangzhou.
