Nanfang Plus: 81.4% of Huangpu's construction projects resume operation

Guangzhou's Huangpu district has launched various measures like releasing preferential policies to support and encourage local construction projects to resume production since Feb 10.

Huangpu has seen 346 out of 425 local construction projects resume production by Feb 20, accounting for 81.4 percent of the total number in the district.

The local housing and urban-rural development bureau launched six measures on Feb 17 covering various areas, spanning simplifying procedures, offering subsidies, and examining projects in phases.

The construction site of the first phase of the Women's and Children's Affiliate Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University has been equipped with complete epidemic prevention supplies, such as protective masks, electronic thermometers, hand sanitizer, disinfectant, as well as disinfectant sprayers.

Training to promote information on epidemic control and prevention was also carried out on Feb 12 at the construction site.

A total of more than 1,300 law enforcement officials have been sent out by Huangpu from Jan 31 to Feb 23 to carry out close supervision on the epidemic control and prevention efforts at local construction sites.
