Measures taken to support local construction projects

Huangpu's housing and urban-rural development bureau has launched six measures in February to help local construction projects resume production and push forward the construction process of new projects related to the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus epidemic.

The measures have covered various areas, spanning simplifying procedures and examining projects in phases.

New projects related to the prevention and control of the epidemic in areas like biomedicine, medical equipment, and relevant municipal supporting facilities can start construction even if they don't have got all materials, with materials being able to be submitted up to three months after the epidemic.

The parts that have finished construction or need to be put into operation immediately of the construction projects mentioned above can be examined in phases and relevant materials for examination procedures can be handed in within three months after the epidemic.

The procedure for resuming production of construction projects have been simplified, as projects can start construction as long as the company submit commitment letters and the record forms to the designated online platform.
