Danshuikeng Scenic Spot

Danshuikeng Scenic Spot is located more than 20 kilometers away from the eastern suburbs of Guangzhou. It is easily accessed through the surrounding Huangpu East Road, Guangzhou-Dongguan Expressway, Guangzhou-Shenzhen Riverside Expressway, Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway and the Beltway. Since ancient times, religious and cultural attractions including Fojiling, eight scenic spots in Danshui, Tonggumingshi, and Yangsi General have attracted many tourists. The scenic spot has 50 natural and cultural attractions. It is divided into six functional areas including Tonggu Mountain Scenic Area, a leisure resort area, Danshui Lake Scenic Area, a sports area, a commercial service area and an entertainment area. The Yangsi General Temple Cultural Scenic Area, located in the Tonggushan Nature Reserve, was rebuilt and opened to the public in 1994.

In addition to the ancient cultural relics of the Yangsi General Temple and the Foji Cave, the main amusement projects in the scenic spot include Xiaofantian Resort which has many attractions such as a golf driving range; a mobile amusement park and a field battlefield; it also has a racecourse and archery range. It is suitable for family and company groups.
