Guangzhou International Sports Arena

Guangzhou International Sports Arena is the only basketball gym meeting NBA standards in South China. It covers an area of 65,000 square meters and has a total floor area of 120,000 square meters. It has 18,000 seats, 60 luxury VIP balconies and 1,270 VIP parking spots.

In addition to running sports events, it can also be used for holding large indoor concerts. In 2010, international competitions and entertainment events such as the 2010 NBA China Games, the basketball competitions of the 16th Asian Games, Hunan Satellite TV New Year Concert, Jacky Cheung's 1/2 Century Concert and a 2011 New Year Rock Concert were successfully held here. Besides, it has supporting multi-functional commercial and entertainment facilities such as retail stores, hotels, and concert halls. It has become a large-scale comprehensive venue integrating sports and entertainment events, and a new sports and entertainment landmark of South China.

When visitors arrive at the subway station in the southwest corner of the venue, they immediately see a huge curved entrance plaza with beautiful natural landscapes and awnings, providing shelter as they proceed to the main entrance. After they reach the entrance, they will note the harmony of the natural curve of the venue and its glass and bright metal. As soon as they walk into the venue, they will see the grand audience hall, the high ceiling and the direct entrance to the lower seating area. The seating allows spectators maximum comfort and vision, and the catering and lounge facilities in the audience hall are nearby.
