High-tech industrialization summit forum to open in Guangzhou

The administrative committee of the Guangzhou Development District (GDD) and Science City (Guangzhou) Investment Group Co will host the second China High-Tech Industrialization Summit Forum with the China High-Tech Industrialization Association in Guangzhou Science City on Nov 25 and 26.

The three parties announced their cooperation at a recent meeting, hoping the forum will be a platform for industrializing high-quality high-tech projects while promoting independent innovation and carrying out the innovation-driven development strategy.

The summit forum will invite well-known experts, scholars, executives and entrepreneurs from scientific and technological circles, industries, finance, higher education institutions, and government departments to deliberate issues such as system environment construction and resource integration and allocation, focusing on "developing high technology and realizing industrialization".

Policy publicity, exchange of cutting-edge technology and project matchmaking and dialogue on investment will also be held during the event.

Leading academicians and experts in high-tech fields in China and elsewhere will make keynote speeches on high-end equipment manufacturing, new generation information technology, energy conservation and environmental protection, commercial aerospace and space economy, and industrialization of high-tech achievements.

Dialogue roundtables, exchange symposiums and sub-forums between scientists and entrepreneurs will be organized.

The forum will also release high-tech achievements set for industrialization.

According to the organizers, the event is held annually and will strive to become a grand scientific and technological event with global influence, and grow into a “Davos Forum” in sci-tech circles in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Liang Xiaohong, Party chief of the China High-Tech Industrialization Association, said Huangpu district and the GDD boast business-friendly environments, good ecology and various preferential policies and measures at the forefront in China, and are ready to help industrialize the high-tech projects.

The cooperation between the association and the district is expected to attract more high-tech projects to make innovations and draw talented people to start their business in Huangpu and the GDD.
