A global summit featuring integrated circuits, sensors and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies will be held in the Guangzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone(GHIDZ) from Oct 10 to 12.
As a part of the second AI &I China (Guangdong) Artificial Intelligence Development Summit, the event aims to promote the transformation of sensor and IoT technologies and upgrading of strategic emerging industries.
In addition to forums, the summit will also host an exhibitionof optoelectronic technology, semiconductor equipment, wearable devices, robots, mobile health applications, new energy vehicles and big data.
Driven by the market and supported by government policies, China's IC industry has maintained sustained high-speed growth and continuously improving innovation capability.
By its fundamental nature the IC industry can cultivate a group of leading enterprises with international competitiveness if concerted efforts are made in investment and preparation.
The most effective way for domestic enterprises to integrate into the mainstream international industrial ecology is to cooperate with other players in the field.
The participants will visit IC tech firms such as Guangzhou Fastprint Circuit Tech Co, China's largest designer and manufacturer of printed circuit boards, whose products are widely used in telecommunication, industrial control, computer application, national defense, aerospace, and medical care.
An IC and systems application institute for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area(GBA) will be another destination for participants to visit.
Positioned as a leader of technological innovation, a cluster of innovative resources and promoter of the industry, the institute will work with its counterparts in Hong Kong and Macao to develop the IC industry in the GBA.
