Thirteen key construction projects broke ground; five innovation platforms were unveiled and 18 industrial and innovation projects were signed at the event.
About 152.3 billion yuan ($21.3 billion) was invested in these projects, including seven in the Guangzhou-Hong Kong Scientific and Technological Cooperation Park.
They cover strategic emerging industries such as hydrogen energy, artificial intelligence and intelligent equipment. Most of them are Hong Kong-funded projects or invested by Guangzhou-Hong Kong joint ventures.
