Huangpu hosts medical device innovation summit

A summit on the development of medical device innovation opened on June 19 at the conference center of Science City in Guangzhou's Huangpu district. It is the first of its kind in Huangpu.

The biomedical industry is a pillar industry in the district, Zhang Hui, an official of the district government, said at the conference.

He added that Huangpu has created a first-class world business environment by issuing a series of support policies for the biomedical industry and offering a preferred global investment destination featuring integration of industrial development and urbanization.

He also invited the participating enterprises to invest in Huangpu.
