Guangzhou Development District issued ten measures to promote the industrial internet in the Huangpu district of Guangzhou city, South China's Guangdong province, on June 12.
Industrial internet enterprises that move in from other cities or invest in the district, or that have already made achievements in industrial internet research in the district, could all enjoy big bonuses from the government.
According to the policy, the industrial Internet service providers newly settled in the district will be awarded a maximum of 500,000 yuan ($72,186.5), 1 million yuan and 2 million yuan respectively if their registered paid-in capital reaches more than 5 million yuan, 10 million yuan and 20 million yuan.
Besides attracting mature enterprises, the new policy also encourages those already inside the district to develop industrial internet and gives more rewards to those having made achievements in the industry.
Industrial enterprises, industrial internet service providers, industrial internet associations or alliances that participate in the building of secondary node of industrial internet identity resolution and achieve good application results will be subsidized by 30 percent of their investment volume, up to a maximum of 3 million yuan.
The district will set up an industry-level industrial internet platform to help upgrade the automobile, aerospace, petrochemical, machine manufacturing, electronic message, biomedical, shipbuilding, customized furnishing, and energy industries.
For those specific industrial Internet platforms with special functions and good application results, a maximum of 3 million yuan will be granted, which subsidies will not exceed 30 percent of the platform's total investment.
The highest rewards will go to cross-industry and cross-sector industrial internet platforms that are safe, stable, rich in resources, innovative, provide good service and have good application results. A maximum of 5 million yuan will be granted, and the subsidies will not exceed 30 percent of their total investment.
