The annual sessions of NPC and CPPCC are just around the corner. NPC deputy Yuan Yuyu, president of Medprin Biotech, will continue to pay attention to industrial innovation and development this year.
At the end of 2008, Yuan, who received a doctorate in bioengineering from the United States, returned home to start a business. Over the past ten years, Medprin Biotech has become a global leader in the field of implantable medical devices.

As a representative of overseas entrepreneurs and his own company, Yuan came to realize that modern enterprises compete on innovation and technical merit. Only by mastering the key technology can an enterprise outshine others.
"We make great efforts for continuous innovation. A series of innovative products, such as Medprin's first product ReDura, a biomimetic-synthetic-absorbable dural substitute, and the maxillofacial repair system, have been industrialized, and widely applied in more than 60 countries."
"More importantly, however, it is still a matter of jumping out of the limitations of individual companies, to think about the industry itself, and listen to the common problems that overseas returnees and innovative industries face," said Yuan.
