The preliminary route for the 2024-2025 Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) Worldtour of Guangxi has been planned, local media outlets reported on May 16.

After a nine-month-long process involving five trips covering nearly 10,000 kilometers to conduct on-site inspections in various cities across the region, relevant units have outlined the route for the 2024-2025 competition.

The new route focuses on serving the national diplomatic strategy, showcasing the border region's cultural landscape, highlighting the revolutionary history of the Youshui River region in Baise, and featuring the international longevity and wellness tourism destination in Bama.

The route covers 19 counties (cities, districts) in six prefecture-level cities including Fangchenggang, Chongzuo, Baise, Hechi, Laibin, and Nanning, totaling approximately 1,100 km.

During this year's Worldtour of Guangxi, the province will host a series of events such as a cycling exhibition and a cycling festival, aiming to create a distinctive brand highlighting the concept of "traveling along with the race."
