Hechi's Bama Yao autonomous county played the feature video Bama: A Paradise of Health and Longevity at the 17th Global Brand Summit, which was jointly organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the European Brand Institute, and was held in Vienna, capital of Austria on Oct 19.

The summit gathered top decision-makers from politics, business, science, international organizations and diplomacy as well as representatives from more than 50 countries and regions to share knowledge and experience for accelerating sustainable development through the branding of products and services. This was the first time that Bama participated in the summit.

Dubbed as the "home of longevity in the world," Bama leverages its abundant ecological resources and a favorable geographic location, and has vigorously developed the health industry. The county has built a modern economic system with the health industry as its pillar industry, focusing on three core industries of healthy food, health service and health science and technology.

Bama is also working to upgrade its recreation tourism from single spot sightseeing tourism to integrated and comprehensive health tourism. It is committed to building itself into an international health tourism destination with distinctive cultural characteristics and diverse amenities for health and wellness.

Bama will work with UNIDO to enhance its image and brand recognition in the international market through collective branding construction, and achieve ecological and sustainable development.
