Bama Digital Health Town, located at Hechi's Bama Yao autonomous county, covers an area of 4,400 mu (293.3 hectares) and will be constructed in three phases. The first phase of the project is currently under construction, with a planned investment of 266 million yuan ($41 million) and covering an area of 101.4 mu. It will mainly include 5G+ laboratories and Huawei smart wearable bases.

The Town is being constructed by the China Railway Ninth Bureau Group. Since construction began on April 10, 2021, the project management department has overcome a number of obstacles, formulated safe and effective protective measures, and ensured that all tasks are carried out in an orderly manner.

As of July 7, ground leveling work, as well as basement and waterproofing work for the buildings, have been 100 percent completed. The construction has spent 25-million-yuan-worth of investment.

Relying on Bama's natural resources, its reputation as a world longevity hometown, and its healthcare industry, combined with the internet and 5G+ technology, Bama Digital Health Town is hoped to become a big health industry complex in line with Bama's development strategy.
