Bama's incentives for Shenzhen-Bama cooperative pilot zone

The people’s government of Bama Yao autonomous county in Hechi released a series of incentive policies on July 5, 2019 for the Shenzhen-Bama Big Health Cooperation Special Pilot Zone, in a bid to promote the development of the zone, as well as attract businesses from outside and within the county to settle down and develop there.

Tax policies

Enterprises which settle down in the pilot zone can receive a grant that is equal to the county’s share of their paid taxes for five years.

Executives of enterprises at the pilot zone can be given an award that is equal to the county’s share of their paid personal income taxes for five years.

Enterprises in the pilot zone which successfully get listed can receive an award that is equal to the county’s share of their taxes payable on the transfer of the shares of the listed companies by the holders of the shares prior to the listing.

Fiscal policies

Construction land for specified projects can receive a grant that is no more than the land price paid by the enterprises.

The specified projects cover mineral water production projects with an annual output of more than 300,000 metric tons, deep processing of agricultural products projects, international brand or national health and medicine institutions, five-star or above hotel projects, big data or cloud computing center projects, and genetic testing or cell therapy programs.

Enterprises in the pilot zone can use the standard factories and dormitories built by the government rent-free for three years.

Projects of the pilot zone can be given priority to be listed among the major projects coordinated by Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and Hechi for special financial supports at all levels.

The electricity price for enterprises in the zone shall be subsidized by the county government with reference to that of the industrial park at the autonomous region level.

National engineering centers and laboratories in the zone can receive a one-time reward of 20 million yuan ($2.86 million), while the ones at the autonomous region level can receive a one-time reward of 10 million yuan.
