Located in Fengshan County and covering a total area of 25,000 square meters, it is a representative of a typical karst landform in the world. It is the source of the Panyang River basin in Bama, the world-famous for its residence's longevity. As one of the core scenic zones of the China Leye-Fengshan World Geological Park, it is a national AAAA tourist attraction in China.

This scenic zone lies in the karst geomorphologic area featuring peak cluster depression (valley). Its peaks soar high into the sky and stretch for hundreds of meters. the elevation of the depression is 429 meters and the elevation of the peaks in the mountainous areas is above 600 meters.

The scenic zone consists of seven closely joined caved-in sinkholes (which are joined together by an underground river). At present, tourists can take a boat trip to visit three skylights, which are euphemistically known as the “Three Caves in Three Lakes” and “the Three Caves and Three Skies in China.” The whole scenic zone is featured by the concentrated distribution of skylights in the form of joined beads. With a grand scale and a large of combinations, and unique landscapes, this scenic zone is defined by its integration of mountains, waters, caves and skies, which is a rarity in the world and it is known as “the World’s Windows” or “the Karst Geological Museum” by internationally active geologists and experts in cave exploration. With the ecological system well preserved, the scenic zone is free from even a vestige of artificial efforts. It is a totally primitive area with completely natural landscape. The climate here is very comfortable with a mild winter and a cool summer. The annual average temperature is 19-21℃ and the temperature of the water here is constantly at around 19℃. Here the number of negative ions of oxygen per cubic centimeter is larger than 10,000, which means that it is a natural source of clean oxygen.
