Zhanjiang public cultural and sports venues reopen

After conducting research and assessments according to relevant regulations, the cultural and sports administrative departments of all counties (cities, districts) in Zhanjiang has resumed the reopening of public cultural and sports venues in an orderly manner in accordance with local conditions.

During the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic prevention and control period, visitors should wear masks when they enter the public cultural and sports venues, as well as cooperate with the staff to do relevant tasks, such as itinerary inquiry, presentation of electronic health code, receiving temperature measurement, and registration of admission information. In addition, flow control measures will be implemented based on the actual conditions and real-time inspection.

Zhanjiang Cultural Center reopened on March 11 and Xiashan district Cultural Center reopened to the public on March 17. Zhanjiang Library will reopen on March 24 from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00-11: 00 and 15:00-17:00. In order to better protect the health and safety of readers, the library has specially purchased equipment to regularly disinfect books.

At present, five of 29 public stadiums in the city have reopened, including the running track, tennis court, and exercise plaza of Zhanjiang Sports Center, as well as the running track of Chikan District Stadium and Wuchuan Sports Center. Sports events like track and field running, tennis, badminton, table tennis, and other fitness activities are available in the aforementioned venues.
