China's Diplomacy in the New Era 
Delegation of Chinese and foreign media outlets visits the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link

The Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, in collaboration with the Information Office of Guangdong, arranged an invitation for  domestic and international media outlets to visit the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, a mega project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from May 29 to 30.

A total of 19 media outlets attended the event, including Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao, Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK), Nikkei, Kyodo News, and the Yomiuri Shinbun.

This initiative aims to effectively tell the story of the Greater Bay Area and Guangdong to the international community.

The media representatives first arrived in Zhongshan, where they had the opportunity to witness the construction site of the world-class cross-sea cluster project. They visited various representative enterprises, including the Star Alliance Global Brand Lighting Center in Guzhen Town, Akesobio Inc, Shenzhen Smart Drone UAV Co, Orbbec Technology, and LAiPIC, gaining insight into the opportunities and benefits the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link brings for the industrial transformation and upgrading of the Pearl River banks, as well as the development of new quality productive forces.

The international media expressed gratitude to the Guangdong Foreign Affairs Office and the Information Office for organizing this event, leading to the publication of numerous news articles and new media products on both domestic and international platforms. The journalists unanimously pointed out that the itinerary was well-organized. They believe that the opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link will greatly enhance the collaborative benefits of the Greater Bay Area urban agglomeration and promote the formation of a one-hour living circle in the Bay Area. They said that through this visit, they will be able to report authentically and comprehensively on the achievements of the Greater Bay Area and effectively share the stories of Guangdong's high-quality development and high-level opening up.
