Liu Chenzi meets with Cuban consul general in Guangzhou

Liu Chenzi, director-general of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, met with Marina Benignovna Domenech Mylnikova, consul general of Cuba, in Guangzhou on Sept 9.

Liu extended a warm welcome to Domenech Mylnikova and expressed her appreciation for the longstanding friendship between China and Cuba. She noted that the relationship between the two nations has become a model of solidarity and cooperation among developing countries. Earlier this year, a delegation from Guangdong visited Cuba to further advance bilateral exchanges and collaboration.

Liu emphasized that Guangdong is willing to work closely with the Cuban Consulate General in Guangzhou to achieve progress in areas such as biotechnology, agriculture and education.

Domenech Mylnikova said Cuba and China have always supported and trusted each other, and the strong relationship between Cuba and Guangdong is a testament to their friendship.

She expressed her commitment to enhancing mutual cooperation and deepening traditional ties, with the aim of elevating exchanges between Cuba and Guangdong to new heights.
