Qiu Huilin, a second-level inspector from the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, met with Anoop Ranjan Bhattarai, president of Nepal-China Executive Council, and his delegation in Guangzhou, Guangdong province on May 30.
Qiu warmly welcomed Bhattarai and his delegation, highlighting the close neighborly and partnership ties between China and Nepal. She spoke about the basic situations of Guangdong and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, looking forward to Bhattarai organizing Nepali entrepreneurs and relevant institutions to actively participate in the development of the Greater Bay Area.
Qiu hoped that the two countries can foster comprehensive friendly exchanges and cooperation, including in the economic and trade sectors.
Meanwhile, President Bhattarai spoke with deep affection about the connections and friendship he and his family have with China. He shared the recent friendly exchanges of Nepal-China Executive Council with China and expressed a strong desire to maintain close contact with the Guangdong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, aiming to further promote friendly relations between the two regions.
