The alpine meadow shines golden yellow in the late afternoon sun in Zhuoxixiulong town, Tianzhu autonomous county, Northwest China's Gansu province, about 170 kilometers from Lanzhou, capital of the province.
Zhuaxixiulong means auspicious and fertile grassland in the Tibetan language. Located in the narrow strip of Jinqiang River Valley, the terrain here is mostly flat and has rich pastures.
Tranquility deepens its beauty in the early spring. Rivers, grass, snow-capped mountains, flocks of sheep, herdsmen, farmhouses... it is the picture of paradise on earth.
