Lanzhou surges ahead in 15th Gansu Provincial Games
On Sept 19, after two days of the youth swimming competition for the 15th Gansu Provincial Games, the Lanzhou delegation won 14 golds, 11 silvers and eight bronzes. Many members broke records on their tracks.

The youth swimming competition gathered 104 athletes from nine cities and prefectures of Lanzhou, Linxia, Tianshui, Longnan, Pingliang, Zhangye, Jinchang, Baiyin and Jiuquan.

The grand opening ceremony of the games kicked off at the Lanzhou Olympic Sports Center in Lanzhou, Gansu province on Sept 17.
The quadrennial games, hosted by the Gansu provincial people's government and sponsored by the Gansu Sports Bureau, Lanzhou people's government, will hold competitions for youths and adults across dozens of sports disciplines.
