The counties in Tianshui, Gansu province offer a natural idyllic scene amid lush greenery, crystal blue and white-cotton clouds in early summer.
In recent years, Tianshui has been encouraging enterprises, cooperatives and family farms to reclaim abandoned farmland. So far, over 73,000 mu (about 4,867 hectares) abandoned farmland has been reclaimed in Qinzhou of the city.
