The city of Linxia in Linxia Hui autonomous prefecture in Northwest China's Gansu province is ramping up efforts to build, improve and protect its rural roads to better achieve rural revitalization.
The newly-built "Rainbow Road" grew out of the previous Peony Cultural Industrial Park Road in Fuhan town, Linxia. It was rated as the "Most Beautiful Rural Road in Gansu" last year by the provincial transportation authority.
Closely connecting various mountain villages with the outside world, it is expected to lead local people to consolidate and expand achievements in poverty alleviation by channeling rural tourism and industrial resources.
