Fujian's Belt and Road exports gain in Jan-Nov period
Exports to Belt and Road countries by East China’s Fujian province hit 508.07 billion yuan ($69.75 billion) in the first 11 months of the year, marking a 2.3 percent year-on-year increase and comprising 45.4 percent of Fujian's total exports, according to Fuzhou Customs.
During the period, private enterprises in Fujian shipped out products worth 375.69 billion yuan to Belt and Road countries, accounting for 73.9 percent of Fujian's total exports and dominating foreign trade.
Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore emerged as the key export markets, with consignments worth 52.51 billion yuan, 48.9 billion yuan, and 42.3 billion yuan, respectively, totaling 28.3 percent of Fujian's total exports to Belt and Road countries.
A major highlight was the performance of advanced manufacturing products such as flat panel display modules and LCD monitors, as representatives of new quality productive forces.
In particular, exports of electric vehicles and ships to Belt and Road countries gained strong momentum.
