The 15th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair (CCCIF) will be held in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, from Oct 31 to Nov 3. It is the only national-level cultural exhibition jointly organized by both sides of the Taiwan Strait, aiming to build Fujian into a demonstration zone for cross-Strait integrated development and promote cross-Strait cultural and tourism integration.
This year's CCCIF features a "2+3+N" exhibition model. The "2" refers to the two main thematic areas: the cultural industries comprehensive achievements exhibition and the urban impressions theme exhibition. Meanwhile, the "3" refers to the three specialized thematic areas, including a cross-Strait fine arts and crafts exhibition, and the "N" refers to various activities like matchmaking meetings, signing ceremonies, and interactive experiences.
Over 10 sub-venues in Xiamen's cultural industry parks will encourage broader participation from cross-Strait cultural and creative enterprises, intangible cultural heritage practitioners, master craftsmen, and young people, fostering cultural exchanges and integration.
This year's CCCIF will also introduce a cross-Strait cultural IP licensing exhibition, showcasing domestic museum IPs. Notable museums like the National Museum of China, the Henan Museum, and the China Science and Technology Museum will participate, promoting cross-border integration and innovation in the cultural and creative industries.
Furthermore, the event will feature over 30 activities such as keynote forums, project matchmaking activities, parallel forums, and professional competitions. Initiatives include promoting AI applications in cultural and tourism, investment promotion for Fujian province's cultural tourism industry chain, and key project signing ceremonies. Discussions will focus on new trends, opportunities, and pathways for the development of the cultural and tourism industries, guiding the sector towards new horizons.
