Fujian MiaoTianHui Food Co Ltd's China-Indonesia Coconut Industrial Park, located in the Yuanhong Functional Area of Fuzhou New District, has swiftly established a comprehensive industrial chain for processing mature coconuts within just three months of its official launch.
MiaoTianHui is currently serving as the source manufacturer, importing mature coconut raw materials. Within the park, one food enterprise handles coconut milk extraction and processing, while another refines the products into coconut juice, coconut milk, and other derivatives.
The Coconut Industrial Park has successfully transitioned from production constraints to becoming a hub for attracting food enterprises, bringing the vision of a large-scale coconut industrial chain in the broader China-Indonesia "Two Countries, Twin Parks" project closer to reality.
"The Coconut Industrial Park has almost freed itself from production constraints, mainly serving as a facilitator to attract more food enterprises. This brings us a step closer to realizing a large-scale coconut industrial chain within the broader China-Indonesia 'Two Countries, Twin Parks'”, said Lin Zhengrong, general manager of MiaoTianHui.
The notion of "one coconut" symbolizes the strong collaborative efforts undertaken by the China-Indonesia "Two Countries, Twin Parks" to foster industrial chain cooperation. Focusing on industrial development and international collaboration, the initiative aims to establish a 5+5 industrial cooperation alliance across marine fisheries, tropical agriculture, light industry textiles, mechanical electronics, and green mining, while also creating five major international cooperation platforms for trade, materials, technology, funds, and talent.
In pursuit of this goal, the China-Indonesia "Two Countries, Twin Parks" have executed 62 economic and trade cooperation projects, comprising 34 investment ventures totaling nearly 80 billion yuan ($11.2 billion) and 28 trade projects with a trade volume of 9.66 billion yuan.
The Yuanhong Functional Area is actively supporting the Coconut Industrial Park in maximizing the utility of every coconut, enhancing production levels and the quality of the enterprises' products.
Furthermore, efforts are underway to attract investment throughout the coconut industrial park's supply chain, utilizing the coconut industry as a model to catalyze the formation of demonstrative industrial chains, solidifying the China-Indonesia "Two Countries, Twin Parks" as a flagship project under the Belt and Road Initiative.
