During summer vacation, a vibrant cultural and tourism atmosphere awaits, with over 1,500 events, 160 preferential policies, and seven summer tourism routes set to launch in Fujian province.

A series of special events will set the stage on fire, including the Fujian summer cultural and tourism consumption season launch ceremony, Longyan's summer-themed activities, and Xiamen's "Garden on the Sea, Music and Sports" leisure and romantic experience season.

Dazzling art performances, including traditional operas like Yue Opera classics "The Jade Dragonfly" and "Liu Yong", as well as international productions such as the French musical "Noah's Ark" and the Russian ballet "Swan Lake", will be performed by international teams.

In addition, efforts to preserve intangible cultural heritage (ICH) have been strengthened, as illustrated in activities such as the 2024 Fujian ICH children's summer camp, adult public service training through the ICH night school, and more.

Public cultural experiences are being enriched, with art teams being formed consisting of members of the public, and the 6th Fujian Chinese classics recitation competition being held.

Museum exhibitions will captivate visitors with vivid displays merging historical artifacts with modern themes, offering interactive experiences like "Explore Fujian through Song Ci".

Several policies benefiting the people have been unveiled as well. Zhangzhou is introducing free admission discounts for 12 A-level scenic spots nationwide for graduates of the national college entrance examination and the senior school entrance exam. Meanwhile, Quanzhou has introduced the "World Heritage Quanzhou" comprehensive tourism card, providing free or discounted access to various amenities such as contracted scenic spots, accommodations, shopping, entertainment, dining, and transportation in 2024.
