Experts gather to explore cross-Strait integrated development
The 16th Cross-Strait Think Tank Forum was held in Xiamen, a coastal city in Fujian province, from June 14 to 15. More than 100 renowned experts, scholars, and individuals from various sectors across the Taiwan Strait gathered in Xiamen to explore cross-Strait integrated development, as well as opportunities for Taiwan.
The forum, as a key part of the 16th Straits Forum, plays a pivotal role in expanding grassroots exchanges, strengthening bonds of kinship and friendship, and building consensus between both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
The forum has received extensive support and seen active participation from think tanks on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, such as the Institute of Taiwan Studies Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, and Ming Chuan University.
Participants, many of whom shared family bonds and friendships, collaborated on development strategies and provided intellectual support to enhance cultural exchanges, promote integrated development, and expand humanistic exchanges and cooperation across the Taiwan Strait.
Since its founding in 2016, the Cross-Strait Think Tank Forum has been a critical platform to enhance mutual understanding, promote cooperation, and seek common development by organizing seminars and on-site inspections.
