On April 25, the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge Xiamen 2024 and Olympic Qualifying Tournament began in Xiamen’s Siming district, featuring 115 teams from 35 countries.

This international A-level event is among the top three international events under the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), following only the Olympics and the World Championships.

Held from April 25 to 28 at Yefengzhai Beach on Huandao Road, the event offers a total prize of $200,000 ($100,000 for men and $100,000 for women). As an integral race of the 2024 Paris Olympics, 13 of the top 30 men's teams and 12 of the top 30 women's teams are competing in Xiamen.

In addition to the thrilling matches, a diverse array of activities awaits locals and tourists alike at the venue. This year's event features a scenic setting around the beach, volleyball, and sports, attracting many visitors.

From April 20 to May 7, people can visit a beach creative market, participate in sporting events, go camping, attend concerts, and eat delicious food. Admission to each match is free to all.
