On March 18, the 4th China Cross-border E-commerce Trade Fair opened in Fuzhou, capital of East China's Fujian province, with the China-Indonesia "Two Countries, Twin Parks" economic and trade achievement exhibition area.
The exhibition area features the "Two Countries, Twin Parks" exhibition, the Indonesian national pavilion, and the Indonesian enterprise pavilion, where 36 Indonesian companies are presenting a diverse range of specialty products to attract both domestic and international guests and visitors for exhibition and procurement.
This year's exhibition is geared towards the rapidly expanding global e-commerce market in Southeast Asia, with Indonesia as the guest country. A special area has been designated for certain Southeast Asian enterprises, along with an overseas celebrity live-streaming area and an overseas MCN docking area, focusing on the new e-commerce model of promoting products via live stream.
This aims to directly link the markets of China and Southeast Asia, promoting the deep integration of the cross-border e-commerce industrial chain, supply chain, and talent chain between China and ASEAN.
The Indonesian e-commerce platform Tokopedia participates in the cross-border trade fair for the first time, seeking collaboration with Chinese companies planning to enter the Indonesian market. Eveline, a platform staff member, highlighted the high quality and competitive pricing of Chinese products, expressing hope for an increased awareness of Tokopedia among Chinese companies, which can help them expand in Indonesia.
Through the "Two Countries, Twin Parks" project, the trade fair and the Indonesian national pavilion will bring a variety of specialty products from Indonesia to the Chinese people via e-commerce. This approach effectively reduces the geographical distance between the two countries and strengthens relations using a new commercial model and e-commerce technology.
