The Xiamen Area of the China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone launched a new business registration system for enterprises on Dec 1, making it easier for enterprises to register their businesses.
Xiamen Yita New Materials Company was the first to be registered through the registration confirmation system.
Tan Cuiping, the company's senior manager, gave a thumbs-up to the new system.
"The new business registration system has made it easier for us to start a new company. The registration materials that need to be submitted to the market supervision bureau were greatly reduced, which saved us a lot of time and money," Tan said.
Tan added that they obtained the business license through the registration confirmation system in a very short amount of time, which makes her feel that the business environment in the Xiamen Area has been greatly improved.
Thanks to the implementation of the new business registration system, a total of 17 enterprises were registered on the first day.
The launch of the registration confirmation system is Xiamen Area's move to deepen reforms as a means to streamline administration and delegate power, improve regulations, upgrade services, and establish a market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment.
"With the trial implementation of the business registration confirmation system, the materials that enterprises need to submit are greatly simplified, and various types of internal autonomy materials are no longer needed, which has greatly streamlined business process," a Xiamen Area official said.
