The Third Maritime Silk Road Tea Culture Forum kicked off in Fuding, Ningde, Fujian province on June 29.

The forum was themed on "Aromas through Fu Tea on the Maritime Silk Road Passage", which aimed to promote fu culture and Fu Tea to the world through exchanges and mutual appreciation of both Chinese and foreign tea cultures, and promote the Belt and Road Initiative and rural vitalization.

The main forum included a sub-forum themed on "Reporters and Tea", a main report, a "Three Tea 'Coordination' to Help Rural Vitalization" sharing session, and a "Happy Ningde, Green Development" sharing session.

The event was held both online and offline and was broadcasted live in Chinese and English, with a sub-venue set up in Tokyo, Japan.

Eight people, including Zhu Liye, president of the US-China Tea Cultural Exchange Association, Li Guangxi, chairman of the British Federation of Fujian Associations, and Yumi Harada, president of the Fujian general chamber of Commerce were recruited as overseas propagandists of fu culture and Fu Tea at the event.

Fuding White Tea was also promoted at the event, and officials and guests who attended the event visited the exhibition area of fu culture and tea cultural products, tasted tea, and carried out exchanges.

During the newly-added contract signing session, Fuding local tea companies signed cooperation agreements with overseas Chinese representatives from countries such as Japan, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand to further strengthen overseas exchanges on tea culture and promote Fuding White Tea to the world.
