At the ASEAN-China Online Influencers Conference on Jan 13, guests carried out in-depth dialogues on China-ASEAN digital economic cooperation.

Djauhari Oratmangun, Indonesia's ambassador to China, emphasized that China and ASEAN have maintained a sustainable growth momentum during the COVID-19 pandemic, and China has become the biggest trading partner with ASEAN member countries.

"We should work to maintain the fruitful results of cooperation to achieve global economic recovery and strengthen global health governance," he added.

Last year marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the China-ASEAN dialogue relations and the beginning of the China-ASEAN comprehensive strategic partnership.

The event is essential for promoting the people-to-people connections between China and ASEAN countries and boosting China-ASEAN economic cooperation.

Moreover, as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement officially took effect on Jan 1, the proportion of zero-tariff products between China and ASEAN countries has increased significantly, which will spur the China-ASEAN trade growth.
