The 2021 Maritime Silk Road International Tea Culture Forum was launched on Dec 6 in Fuzhou, Fujian province to boost Sino-foreign tea culture exchanges and to promote Fujian culture globally.
The forum attracted both Chinese and foreign tea experts and scholars, several diplomatic envoys, foreigners in Fujian from 15 countries, as well as overseas Chinese in Fujian from 28 countries.
The forum saw the release of the Blue Paper on the Chinese Tea Industry and the employment of overseas promoters of maritime tea culture. The winners of this year's best tea competition were also awarded at the forum.
This year's forum was broadcast live both in the main venue in Fuzhou and the sub-venue in Tokyo, Japan.
Professors, tea experts, and company representatives carried out discussions and presentations at the main forum venue in Fuzhou, while Japanese tea experts and Japanese representatives talked about the culture of Chinese tea, maritime tea, and Japanese tea ceremonies at the sub-venue in Tokyo.
