Anta's 'Double 11' sales hit record high

During the recently concluded "Double 11" online shopping festival, Anta Sports achieved a new sales record for the event when it sold 4.65 billion yuan ($727 million) worth of products, a year-on-year increase of 61 percent.

Based in Xiamen, Anta is China's largest sportswear company.

The sportswear giant's total turnover for outdoor sports shoes and clothing, as well as mother and baby shoes and clothing on Alibaba's Tmall platform exceeded those of all its competitors. 

The total transaction share of Anta's brands accounted for more than 22 percent of the category of sports shoes and clothing on Alibaba's Tmall platform.

"The 'Double 11' festival is a big test of brand strategy and operation ability. Anta's digital platform provides a platform for its brands to interact with consumers. Through big data analysis, accurate prediction and coordinated operation of the whole value chain, data-driven decision-making has effectively supported the high-quality growth of 'Double 11' transactions," said Bi Mingwei, executive director and vice president of Anta Sports.
