ByteDance founder Zhang Yiming visits old school in Fujian

Zhang Yiming, a member of the 2001 graduating class of Yongding No1 Middle School in Fujian province and the founder of ByteDance, visited his old school recently, local media outlets reported on June 14.
Zhang visited the campus and the school history museum. When speaking of the future development of his old school, Zhang said that he would continue to pay attention to the school and support the education fund.
Zeng Deyong, president of the school, presented Zhang with the centenary chronicle of the school and a picture album.
Zhang also visited his head teacher Zhang Wanping and expressed his gratitude to the teachers for their hard work.

Fujian Yongding No1 Middle School was founded in 1913. It is a provincial key middle school renowned for its excellent school spirit. It is also part of the first batch of provincial demonstration high schools.
