Nianshan village in Xingxi town, Zhenghecounty, East China's Fujian province is famous for its vast sea of terraced fields, which have a history of more than 1,000 years, and are the largest and most beautiful terraced fields in Fujian.

Relying on its characteristic natural and cultural landscapes, the local government has beefed up efforts to develop its rural tourism in recent years, leading to the transformation of the poverty-stricken village into a national 3A-level tourist attraction.
