Fuzhou skywalk treats visitors to forest views
The "Fudao" skywalk, a 19-kilometer-long overhead footpath in Fuzhou, Fujian province, was built over a forest, providing visitors with excellent views of the surrounding countryside. It is also China's first hanging steel-framed urban forest walkway and is rated as a national 3A-level attraction. [Photo by Ye Yibin/for chinadaily.com.cn]
The two Chinese characters "fu" and "dao" imply human happiness and respect for nature. With a series of parks connected along the line, the gently rising path allows walkers to enjoy a vast amount of scenery quickly and conveniently. [Photo by Ye Yibin/for chinadaily.com.cn]
