Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City in Binhai New Area, Langgu (Beijing) New Materials Technology, and Mingyuan Silu (Tianjin) Industry signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Sept 16.
Under the Belt and Road Initiative, the three parties will help Langgu and Mingyuan establish a joint venture in the eco-city, expand overseas business, and build an aerogel new materials industrial base in Uzbekistan, supporting China's green materials sector in Central Asia.
Aerogel is a new environmentally friendly material used in construction and industry, offering thermal insulation, fire resistance, waterproofing, and energy-saving benefits.
Langgu is a leading aerogel technology company covering green buildings, zero-carbon parks, petrochemicals and new energy. It has three proprietary product systems, moved its headquarters to the eco-city in June 2025, and plans a North China aerogel production line there.
Mingyuan Silu operates the Jizzakh Mingyuan Silu Industrial Park, providing overseas industrial park management and related services.
The deal follows a visit in September 2025 by an Uzbek delegation to the eco-city. Langgu products received Uzbek recognition after screening and testing.
The planned base will promote local, large-scale aerogel production, help meet Uzbekistan's demand for green, energy-efficient materials, and expand Chinese companies' footprint in Central Asia. The parties will build a long-term cooperation platform and deepen China-Uzbekistan cooperation in green trade.
