Tianjin Tea

Although Tianjin does not produce tea leaves, it boasts several well-known specialty tea brands and products. Tianjin's tea industry is relatively developed, offering a variety of high-quality teas, some of which have become local specialty teas. For example, Tianjin Jasmine Tea is famous for its unique blending process and refreshing taste. Tianjin Tieguanyin Tea is known for its elegant aroma and rich flavor, while Tianjin Green Tea has a bright green color and a refreshing taste. Other noteworthy teas include Tianjin Snow Bud Tea and Tianjin Red Seedling Tea, all with their own characteristics, much loved by tea enthusiasts. Additionally, well-known tea brands and companies such as Tianjin Yi He Green Tea and Tianjin Hong Gu Yi Tea Industry insist on using premium raw materials and traditional techniques to provide tea products of superior flavor and quality.  

Youyu Tea House

Youyu Tea House is the best crosstalk (Xiangsheng) tea house in the Binhai New Area, located on the fourth floor of Baolong Plaza. The atmosphere is great, making it an excellent place to enjoy crosstalk performances. Although small, the tea house can accommodate over 100 people. The environment is comfortable, with two rows of sofas and tables. Even from the back, the view is still decent. The performer lineup includes three generations of artists—veterans in their 60s and middle-aged performers in their 30s and 40s—offering a mix of new and traditional crosstalk pieces, along with group performances, which are very popular.
