The 2024 China Culture & Tourism Industries Exposition, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, got underway at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Tianjin earlier today, and will run until Sept 16.
With the theme "Experience New Forms of Cultural Tourism, Enjoy New Life," this year's expo spans an impressive 150,000 square meters across nine exhibition halls. It promises to be a showcase of cutting-edge trends, expanding market opportunities and forward-thinking innovations within the cultural and tourism sectors.
Visitors will be immersed in specially-themed pavilions that feature innovative approaches and unique tourism resources from across China.
The Outdoor Equipment Pavilion stands out as a key attraction, offering a glimpse into the world of adventure tourism, while the Art Toy Pavilion will captivate with its blend of animation and traditional Chinese elements.
More than 2,000 companies are participating in the landmark event, which will offer an exciting lineup of activities across industries such as commerce, culture, tourism, sports and agriculture.
Beyond the exhibitions, the expo will serve as a platform for Tianjin to shine, presenting the city's energetic, youthful and culturally rich tourism identity.
