Chinese premier says China ready to work with Vietnam to continuously expand, upgrade bilateral trade

BEIJING -- Chinese Premier Li Qiang said Monday that China stands ready to work with Vietnam to continuously expand the scope and improve the quality of bilateral trade.

Li made the remarks during a phone conversation with Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung at the latter's request.

China stands ready to work with Vietnam to expand cooperation in fields such as energy and mineral resources, the digital economy, artificial intelligence and finance, Li said.
